All roofing sections of the 1898 Grist Mill
- Remove the existing roofing materials down to the wood deck and dispose of offsite.
- Remove all existing flashings at walls.
- Repair the wood deck only as needed.
- Repair deteriorated fascia wood to match existing as needed.
- Install Self-healing Ice & Water Shield 40 mil membrane over wood deck.
- Install new flashings at walls and tie in to new roofing materials. Flashing: Amerax Products 20" X 5' Galvanized Flashing Sized On Site Mfg #66020 Installation: with masonry blade cut 1 1/1" into wall (mortar joint), insert flashing into wall seal with Sikaflex Pro Sealant, fasten flashing with 1 1/2" concrete nail seal with Sikaflex Pro Sealant, bend flashing to cover ribs seal to roof panel with Sikaflex Pro Sealant.
- Install galvanized metal roofing: Dimensions 26" X 144", Class 4 Hail Impact Resistance UL Rating 2118, Class A Fire Desistance UL Rating 790, 29 gauge, color metallic, material metal, weight 16.38 lbs, Panel Type 5 V, Panel Profile Ribbed. Installation: Install with 1 1/2" roof nails with neoprene washers every 8". Paint: Behr Multi-Purpose Roof Paint, Color Deep Viridian.
