The program for which bids are to be received generally include street resurfacing, street patching, curb removal and replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement, and restoration work. Bidders are advised of the following requirements of this contract: 1) Illinois Prevailing Wage; 2) 5% Bid Security with the bid submittal; 3) 100% Performance Bond and; 4) 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond on award of contract and; 5) IDOT Certification of Eligibility for HotMix Asphalt Mix in the amount of $1,000,000.00, no bidders are allowed to have limited asphalt tonnage; The City Council of the City of Batavia reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any technicalities, discrepancies, or information in the bids.
