Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

Bids which are delivered in advance by any means shall be delivered to: 4110 Airport Drive, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee 38464, Attention: Jill Gowen, Board Chair. They shall be clearly labeled: Bid for Fuel Farm Replacement and Apron Expansion - Lawrenceburg-Lawrence County Airport; DO NOT OPEN UNTIL BID. The work generally consists of installing a new fuel farm approximately 60 feet from the existing, demolishing the existing fuel farm, and expanding the apron with concrete pavement. The new fuel farm will include a new double wall 12,000 gallon Jet-A package system, a new double wall 12,000 gallon Av-Gas package system, a new double wall 300 gallon diesel tank on elevated stand, and a new self-service card reader system. Work also includes excavation, grading, erosion control, crushed aggregate base course, concrete foundation, concrete retaining wall, turfing, and miscellaneous electrical. It is the sole responsibility of each prospective bidder to notify the Engineer (Neel-Schaffer, Inc., aaron.mcneal@neel-schaffer.com, 334-539-8883, 210 25th Avenue North, Suite 800, Nashville, TN 37203, 615-383-8420 (alternate number)) that you are a plan holder in order to receive addenda. Each prospective bidder shall provide and maintain the following current information with the Engineer: company name, contact person, mailing address, e-mail, and telephone number. Complete sets of digital drawings and digital specifications can be e-mailed to prospective bidders at no charge. To receive the plans and specifications, prospective bidders need to send an e-mail request to aaron.mcneal@neel-schaffer.com with the aforementioned required information. Printed hard copy sets will not be issued. Drawings and specifications may be examined at the Lawrenceburg-Lawrence County Airport Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The Lawrenceburg-Lawrence County Airport Commission, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000D to 2000D-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Non-Discrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all Bidders that each Bidder must affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, creed, sex, handicap, or national origin in consideration of an award. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond on the form contained in the Proposal Book from a surety company acceptable to the Lawrenceburg-Lawrence County Airport Commission or a cashier's check or certified check made payable to the LawrenceburgLawrence County Airport Commission for not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. A 100% Contract Bond will be required of the successful Contractor. All Bidders shall be licensed Contractors as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1976 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, and all amendments thereto in effect on the date of receipt of bids. The proposal must be submitted on the form furnished herein, which shall be enclosed (with all other required forms) in a sealed envelope clearly labeled with the name of the project, bidder's name and address and license number, classification, expiration date, the date and time of the Bid Opening, and state "DO NOT OPEN UNTIL BID" (so as to guard against premature opening of any bid). Additionally, it is required that any subcontractors in the following fields must supply the following information - Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Geothermal, and Masonry as well as any additionally required Subcontractors' Name, License Number, Classification and Expiration Date in accordance with TCA 62-6-119. Failure to show these items on the outside of the envelope will result in the bid being returned to the Bidder unopened. All Bidders shall complete and certify the enclosed Drug Free Workplace Affidavit. Withdrawal of Bid: Any Bidder, upon his and his authorized representative's written request, will be given permission to withdraw his proposal not later than the time set for opening thereto. At the time of opening of proposals, provided written request has been submitted prior to the time of the opening, when such proposal is reached it will be returned to the Bidder unopened. Unless contrary to the statues of the State of Tennessee including local charter provisions no Bidder may withdraw a bid submitted for a period of ninety (90) days after actual bid opening without Owner's consent. Award will be made to the lowest responsible qualified Bidder, if awarded. THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY OR ALL BIDS AND TO WAVE TECHNICALITIES IS RESERVED.
