The City of Morgan Hill is requesting proposals from qualified CSLB licensed contractors to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and performance of operation in connection with on-call door and gate repair services at City facilities for the period from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2026. Monday, May 6, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. Deadline to Submit Questions in writing to Cynthia Iwanaga, Management Analyst at Cynthia.iwanaga@morganhill.ca.gov This is a prevailing wage project. Each worker performing work under this Contract shall be paid at a rate not less than the prevailing wage as defined in Sections 1771 and 1774 of the California Labor Code. The City will not accept a bid proposal from or enter into the Contract with a bidder, without proof that the bidder and its subcontractors are registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") to perform public work under Labor Code Section 1725.5, subject to limited legal exceptions. Contractors must possess a current and valid California Contractors State Licensing Board (CSLB) license in the classification required by law to perform the work: CSLB C-61/D-28 (Doors, Gates & Activating Devices) and/or C-28 (Lock and Security Equipment). If awarded the contract, the successful contractor will be required to possess or obtain a City of Morgan Hill Business license, if they don't currently have one. No Bid Bonds are required.
