The Authority is seeking to acquire all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary for work related to the removal and replacement of existing expansion joints for both High Temperature Hot Water and Chilled Water Piping Systems, including valves, sump pumps, electrical panels, controls and all associated accessories at manhole (vault) #6 at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). This Solicitation and the Attachments listed in Section VIII, which are incorporated into the Solicitation by reference, set forth the terms and conditions that govern the Solicitation, as well as, those that will become binding upon execution of the Contract awarded as a result of this Solicitation. The work shall be performed in accordance with the Plans & Specification provided. This work includes but not limited to the following. • Demolish Expansion Joints for HTHW & CHILLED Water lines and replace them with new, including associated valves, insulations, and accessories. • Demolish and replace old sump pumps, including associated controls, valves, and accessories. • Furnish and install all new piping including their respective anchors, gaskets, drains and flanges. • Maintain functionality of all existing electrical systems to remain and perform modifications per plan. • Provide start up, system commissioning and training to service personnel.
