Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Honey Brook, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work will consist of asphalt paving, concrete curbs, concrete sidewalks, and stormwater pipe installation. The work also includes the demolition and removal of the existing concrete sidewalk, curb, and asphalt paving for the South Chestnut Street Rehabilitation Project. Bidders must conform to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as well as the General Conditions and detailed Specifications in the bid package. Bids may be held by HBB for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of Bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids, receipt of government approvals, receipt of grant(s) and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the Contract. Bids may be publicly awarded on May 20, 2024 at 7:00pm (local time) at the Honey Brook Borough Hall, 71 Pequea Avenue, Honey Brook, PA 19344. This bid is in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and the successful bidder shall pay no less than the PA L&I Wage Rates determined for the project as stated in the Contract Documents. Award of the Contract, if the contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, however Owner reserves the right to reject any and or all bids on any basis and to waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law. The bid must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Honey Brook Borough. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractor's Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. Honey Brook Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Borough.
