This Specification establishes the minimum requirements for this solicitation, listed and described in the body of these specifications, to be used as noted, by the School Board. The successful Bidder(s) shall be awarded a contract for an initial three (3) year term with one (1) subsequent one (1) year renewal period. The award term recommendation will be that which is determined to be in the best interest of the School Board. All renewals will be contingent upon mutual written agreement and, when applicable, approval of School Board. A. The successful Bidder will be required to contract with Central Monitoring Station (C.M.S.) and/or a system equivalent to C.M.S. as the District's supervising station. The intent of this bid is to provide monitoring service of the existing IP systems. A total of forty (40) sites are currently monitored via IP, other sites may be added during the term of this contract. B. The successful Bidder shall provide monitoring through C.M.S., and/or a system equivalent to C.M.S., of the Intrusion Monitoring Systems 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, and 365 days per year. C. If the successful Bidder uses a system equivalent to C.M.S., please provide documentation and/or guest portal access in order to confirm said system's capabilities. D. All programmable panel access codes must be set to default codes to allow any authorized vendors access to the panel. A code, other than the factory default, is acceptable as long as a listing of pass codes is provided to the District's contract administrator. E. The District will be responsible for programming the school/location panels, this will be coordinated with the awarded bidder, at the time of the conversions if any. FIRE ALARM MONOTORING A. The District presently uses two (2) phone lines as the method for communication from the fire alarm systems at the protected premises to Central Monitoring Station (C.M.S.) the District's supervising station. The successful Bidder will be required to contract with C.M.S. as the District's supervising station. The current phones are a non-proprietary I.P. DACT communication system. Attachment "B" is the list of the District's sites, control panels and dialers. B. The District will use "Performance-Based Technologies" following the criteria as outlined in Chapter 26.6.1 in the National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code Handbook and listed in Table 26.6.3.1. Each scheduled conversion will be permitted and inspected through the District's Building Department. C. The successful Bidder shall provide monitoring through C.M.S. of Fire Alarm Systems 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, and 365 days per year. D.
