The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and plant to construct Ashland Lift Station No. 1 including but not limited to the construction of the proposed twelve-foot (12') diameter concrete submersible lift station wet well; three (3) submersible pumps with accessories; six-inch (6") diameter ductile iron piping and valves, an on-site eight-inch (8") diameter force main, and an on-site fifteen-inch (15") diameter gravity sanitary sewer; seven-inch (7") thick concrete pavement; 8-ft tall wood fencing; miscellaneous site grading; installation of a 60-kW diesel engine driven generator with 24-hour subbase fuel tank; electrical duct banks, conduit, wiring, starters, control panel, automatic transfer switch, and all other miscellaneous electrical items; and all other miscellaneous items necessary for a complete and working system. Prior to any work, the Contractor shall photograph all areas within the proposed work area and submit the photographs to the Engineer, as specified. All questions shall be submitted to the Engineer In ample time to permit consideration before reply, submit questions about bidding instruments to the Engineer. B. Necessary replies will be issued to bidders of record as addenda, which becomes a part of the bidding instruments. Oral instructions do not form a part of the bidding instruments. C.
