Reference Number 0000350048 Milling & Resurfacing, Troy Hills Rd/S Beverwyck Rd (C.R. 637) in the Township of Hanover & Parsippany-Troy Hills for the Morris County Department of Public Works, Division of Engineering & Transportation consisting of, but not limited to, 60,414 S.Y. - HMA Milling, 3" or Less, 7,328 Tons - Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course, 42 C.Y. - I-9 Soil Aggregate, 454 S.Y. - Concrete Sidewalk, 4" Thick, 91 S.Y. - Concrete Slope Gutter, 6" thick, 438 S.Y. - Stone or Gravel Driveway, 6" Thick, 45 S.Y. - Detectable Warning Surface, 816 L.F. - 9"x20" Concrete Vertical Curb, 1,501 L.F. - Beam Guide Rail, 18 Unit - Tangent Beam Guide Rail Terminal, Railroad Flaggers, Reconstructed & Reset Inlets, Warning & Regulatory Signs, 17 Unit - Tree Removal (various sizes up to 24" diameter) in addition to other miscellaneous items. Question Deadline 04/27/2024 at 12:00 AM ET Questions are submitted online No. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 10 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Maintenance Bond 10 % - Labor and Materials Bond 100 %. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) (not to exceed $20,000.00) of the total bid, payable to the County of Morris, as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to the Bidder, will enter into a contract and provide the necessary bonds and insurance as required by the County and the Division of Risk Management. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond as Specified in the Contract Documents. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied With a Consent of Surety Which States That the Surety Company Will Provide the Bidder With the Performance Bond Specified in the Contract Documents in the Event the Bidder is Awarded the Contract. General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Certified Payroll - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Document notes: with Bid Number and Name in memo section of check. The County of Morris shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents, including addenda, obtained from any other source. Clearing site shall also include culvert pipe, headwalls, signs, inlets, trees, grubbing of tree stumps and backfilling holes resulting from tree removal. Any trees in conflict with construction shall be removed only when approved by the Engineer. Clearing Site shall also include the removal and resetting of any mailboxes, fences, curbing, utility service of other item which conflicts with construction whether or not it has been designated to be removed or reset in the plans. The Contractor is encouraged to walk the site to make his/her own determination of the items, which conflict with construction, which must be removed and/or reset. No additional payment will be given for items removed or reset by the Contractor during the course of construction, which have not been identified in the plans. Clearing site also includes meeting FRA 213, 213.37, AASHTO, and MUTCD line of sight requirements at road crossings and obstructions of signage. Trees and brush should be cleared within the railroad right of way to a point 250' in each direction from any railroad crossing.
