* RFP has been cancelled. Removal of the existing culvert in accordance with all applicable environmental regulations and guidelines. Site preparation and excavation for culvert installation, considering any soil conditions, drainage issues or environmental sensitivities. The Rural Municipality of Meadow Lake No. 588 invites sealed tenders for the removal and replacement of the 3400mm culverts on "Grid Road 799," located between SW-11-59-15-W3 and NW-2-59-15-W3. Project Details: Earth Excavation: 12,000 m3 Clay Cap: 1,000 m3 Culvert Installation: 120 m of 3400 mm CSP of 4.2mm wall thickness (contractor supplied) Subbase Placement: Type 6 or 8 Clay Seepage Seal: 500 m3 Erosion Blanket Installation: 4000 m2 Silt Wattle Installation: 500 m Rip-Rap: 550 m2 (Reuse where economical) Traffic Gravel: 100 tonne supply and place of type 105 traffic gravel Granular backfill: 2500 m3 End stiffeners on inlet end: Reuse existing Material Provision: Culvert and borrow source material will be the responsibility of the contractor. The RM will assist in locating and corresponding with the land owners. All other materials to be supplied by the contractor.
