The Town of Morrisville, NC (hereinafter referred to as the "Town") is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for the purpose as described below: Landscape Maintenance Contract FY25- Maintenance of concrete islands, turf, and landscaped areas on Town grounds, parks, greenways, and right of ways. Scope of Work The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, and supervision for mowing, trimming, blowing, edging, spraying, mulching, and spraying of turf, landscaped areas, greenways, and right of ways. Work shall be performed at various locations in the Town of Morrisville. The Town will provide the Contractor with a list of locations that need to be addressed. Services covered under this contract include: o All services outlined in Appendix B. o Services at all locations outlined in Appendix C o Weekly site visits to maintain the landscaping on Town grounds, park areas, greenways, and road right of ways. o Bi-weekly site visits to maintain the landscaping on medians and right of ways on town-owned and state roads. o Monthly site visits to maintain drainage ditches with turf and undeveloped town properties. o Quarterly site visits to maintain concrete medians. o The successful bidder will be required to show proof of insurance as outlined in the General Insurance Requirements below. The Town must be named as additional insured. Work shall not begin until this provision has been satisfied and a Purchase Order issued. o The cost proposals shall be submitted on the form contained in "Appendix C." o Contractor agrees that pricing shall be good for 90 days from the date of the submittal. o A sample contract is included in Appendix A. Upon acceptance of the contract by the Town the contractor shall provide the Town with a Certificate of Insurance for review prior to the issuance of any contract or Purchase Order. All Certificates of Insurance will require thirty (30) days written notice by the insurer or contractor's agent in the event of cancellation, reduction or other modifications of coverage. In addition to the notice requirement above, the Contractor shall provide the Town with immediate written notice of cancellation, reduction, or other modification of coverage of insurance. Upon failure of the Contractor to provide such notice ,the Contractor assumes sole responsibility for all losses incurred by the Town for which insurance would have provided coverage. The insurance certificate shall be for the initial contract period of one (1) year and shall be renewed by the contractor for each subsequent renewal period of the contract. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
