Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Camp Shelby, Mississippi. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 2,900-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Professional Services 1. General: The Military Department, State of Mississippi, will contract for professional A&E services to design New Equipment Training Facility in Camp Shelby, Mississippi. Actual award of the A&E contract is contingent upon funding approval. Construct New Equipment Training Facility. Any professional desiring to provide service for this project should submit the following in the format indicated below: a: Letter of Interest (LOI): Written correspondence indicating your desire to provide the professional services required. As a minimum, the following should be included: (1) Provide the approximate mileage from the firm's primaryoffice that will be responsible for the design of the project. (2) A statement indicating current workload and workload anticipated for the next 18 months. (3) Your experience with the design of this type facility. (4) List the amount of A&E feesreceived in the previous three (3) calendar years, to date, for all Federal/State work. Federal is further defined as any project that is Federally contracted. State is further defined as any project with a State contract, to include public/county/school contracts.Figures must be cross-referenced to projects listed in SF-330. (5) Recent design experience with National Guard/Federal Government facilities. (6) Provide specifics regarding the qualifications of professionals, in-house and/or consultant firms and personnel that are to be utilized to design this project including their experience with this type project. Include architects, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, and environmental specialist. b: Additional Submissions Required: (1) The individual names and firms of the complete design team. This list must indicate the responsible person and the individual that will actually perform the design for each discipline of work. (2) A complete and current GSA Standard Form SF-330 indicating each member of the design team. Projects that provide specialized experience with this type facility or the National Guard should be highlighted. Selection Criteria: The selection of a firm to provide professional services for this project will be based on the firm's qualifications and experience in the following categories/areas: 1. Distance between the firm's designing office to the project site. 2. Experience with this type of facility and available key personnel that will be required. 3. Past performance of work and experience related to this type of work. Amount of Federal/State A&E Fees received during the last three (3) calendar years. Specialized experience with firm's architectural, civil, electrical, and environmental engineers in relation to this type of work. The New Equipment Training Facility will consist of the following: Design a General Instruction Facility (CTCD 17120) and Overhead Protection (CTCCD14179). Project will be constructed on an existing slab. This project will consist of a 2,900 SF building consisting of office spaces, a classroom, storage rooms, latrines, janitorial, supporting mechanical, electrical and communication spaces. The office area, classroom and restrooms shall be heated and cooled. The HVAC system shall be split with an air handling room and condensers located outside. All rooms shall have painted CMU walls and sealed concrete floors except for the classroom which will have LVT resilient flooring. All rooms will have drop ceiling and insulation. All lights shall be energy efficient LED. Exterior walls shall be insulated with metal panel cladding; roof shallbe sloped metal. Overhead protection will be approximately 6,294 SF. Required lifts and cranes will be installed under the overhead protection.
