Site work for a road / highway in Gresham, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMet) is soliciting sealed bids from qualified firms to provide construction services for rail pedestrian safety enhancements located in Gresham, Oregon (N. Main and NE 10th Avenue Crossing) as described herein (Project). TriMet requires one of the following with the bid: TriMet's bid bond (see Section 4 - Bid Forms), a cashier's check or a certified check for 10 percent of the bidder's total bid price, or an irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured institution as defined in ORS 706.008 for that amount. If a bidder conditions the bid bond to provide for the possibility of payment of any amount less than 10 percent of the total bid price, the bid bond will not be accepted, and will cause the bid to be rejected as non-responsive. Bidders are advised to read Paragraph 00215 in the Bidding Requirements and Conditions Section of the General Provisions, entitled "Bid Security," and to comply with the requirements of that Section. A 100% payment bond and a 100% performance bond on TriMet's own bond forms will be required prior to beginning work. Contractors must be licensed with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) in accordance with ORS 701.005 prior to submitting their bid and must file a public work bond with the CCB. This solicitation is for a public work subject to State of Oregon, Bureau of Labor and Industries (ORS 279C.800 - 279C.870) prevailing wage rates. Bidders must certify compliance with prevailing wage rate requirements as referenced herein. All questions regarding this Invitation to Bid shall be directed to Crystal Atterbury, Senior Contracts Administrator, via email at AtterbuC@TriMet.org. TriMet's general order of magnitude for this project is estimated to be in the range of $600,000 to $700,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The project will include but is not necessarily limited to: 1. Demolition of existing asphalt concrete and Portland cement concrete 2. Installation of new sidewalks, curbs, and asphalt pavement. 3. Installation of pedestrian tactile warning devices. 4. Installation of markings ("stop here", "do not stand here", thermoplastic pavement markings, RR bike signage). 5. Installation of signage (look both ways, danger- no trespassing). 6. Installation of new pedestrian guardrail channelization and one pedestrian swing-gate at the SE crossing quadrant. 7. Installation of concrete ties on east side of crossing - owner furnished. 8. Installation of new pre-cast concrete crossing panels - owner furnished. 9. Installation of new pedestrian flashers. 10. Installation of new light poles/ fixtures Install 4' chain link fence.
