Renovation of a municipal facility in Campbell River, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Strathcona Regional District leases a portion of the building located at 261-B Larwood Road, known locally as the Campbell River Search and Rescue Hall. As this building functions as an Emergency Operation Centre the Regional District intends to install a backup generator for use during extended power outages. To accomplish this the Regional District is inviting qualified vendors to supply and install a: Discover AES-48 volt, 15kwh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery system to connect to take the emergency plan load; Single Schnieder Conext XW 6448 inverter/charger system; Kohler 48kw propane generator; 500-gallon propane tank; and 250A automatic transfer switch.
