Taconic DDSO is seeking a vendor to install a 30 KW generator and 200 Amp service entrance rated automatic transfer switch at 7 Cove Road, Rhinebeck NY. The DDSO shall provide the generator, transfer switch, and a 500-gallon propane tank. The successful bidder shall provide all remaining materials and labor necessary to complete the work in a professional, code compliant manner. All work shall be completed per the attached drawings and scope of work. Permit Number: CP-TA-H10541-20240123 Location: 7 Cove Road Rhinebeck, NY 12572 CR Number: 2109241 1. Install a 200 Amp service entrance rated automatic transfer switch and 30 KW generator, to supply a whole house transfer upon loss of normal utility power. 2. Supply a pad for the generator to sit on and install the provided generator on said pad. 3. Supply a pad for the Propane tank to sit on. Propane tank and gas line to be supplied and installed by others. Connect gas line to the generator once tank is set. 4. Contractor is responsible for having underground utilities identified and marked out. Contractor will be responsible for any damage caused during excavation work. 5. All work is to be completed per the attached drawings and applicable Building and NEC codes, industry best standards, and manufacturer's instructions. 6. Job will not be considered complete until the job is verified and accepted by Plant Superintendent or a designated Maintenance Supervisor. 7. All work must be warrantied to be free of defects in workmanship for one year after completion of work. A 3 rd party inspection will be required for all electrical work, at the expense of the contractor. 8. Contractor is responsible for removal and disposal of debris created during project and for cleaning or repairing any part of the facility damaged during work.
