CURBSIDE COLLECTION OF SOLID WASTE, BULK WASTE AND RECYCLABLE MATERIALS Each bid must be made on the prescribed forms furnished with the Contract Specifications, including Non-Collusion Affidavit, and a certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Borough of Little Ferry, or a duly executed bid bond in the amount of 10% of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00, must be deposited by the bidder together with a Certificate of Surety evidencing that he can obtain the required Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract. The successful bidder shall be required to deliver to the Borough an executed Performance Bond of the responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the sum equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract for each succeeding year the contract is in effect. Bids may be submitted by mail but will be considered only if received on or before said date and time. The Borough of Little Ferry will not be responsible for bids received after the deadline. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 and P.L. 1977, Chapter 33 (Statement of Ownership). The contract shall be subject to the Department of Environmental Protection's Solid Waste Utility Regulations per N.J.A.C. 7:26H. The Borough of Little Ferry reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the proposals received and to accept the bid which is in the best interest of the Borough in accordance with the New Jersey Public Contract Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq. The Borough further reserves the right to consider all bids for sixty (60) days after the bid opening before awarding a contract.
