Description of Work: The Work includes, but is not limited to: Exterior site improvements to Maplewood Heights Elementary School generally consisting of site demolition, earthmoving, asphalt paving and markings, concrete paving, curbs and walks, chain link fencing and gates, benches and picnic tables, and other miscellaneous site improvements as shown in the Contract Documents. Architect/Engineer's Cost Opinion: $220,000 Bid Bond: This Project is estimated to cost $250,000.00 or more and must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond, equal to 5% of the total Base Bid only, excluding taxes. Make checks payable to the Renton School District; furnish bond executed by a licensed bonding agency authorized to do business in the locality of the project. Apprenticeship Requirement: This Project is not estimated to cost one million dollars or more. If "is" is selected, then this Project is subject to the apprenticeship requirements of RCW 39.04.320.
