Renovation of a municipal facility in Sarnia, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Bio-Solids Processing Upgrades - Phase II includes, but is not limited to, the following: - Installation of a Third Centrifuge including a new electrical drive panel, and a new OIT (pre-purchased); - Replacement of the Bridge Crane; - Replacement of Air Compressor - Replacement of the polymer make-down and feed pumping system - Replacement of Two Sludge Feed Pumps and associated piping - Installation of two new sludge feed pumps, a new forcemain and associated piping and valves - Installation of two new mixing pumps and a new mixing system in Holding Tank #2 - Installation of two new air pollution control cyclones, a new venturi scrubber and dryer exhaust fan to replace the existing equipment - Installation of a new ribbed belt conveyor and reversing belt conveyor to replace existing inclined and distribution conveyors - Replacement of heat pulse bunker cells - Construction of a new control room - Structural modifications including mezzanine stair replacement and rehabilitation of the Sludge Processing Building steel panels and supports. - Construction of a new truck loading ramp (provisional) - Repainting the Sludge Pumping Gallery and parts of Sludge Processing Building (provisional) - All associated site works including demolition, rehabilitation of existing structures, building services, electrical, instrumentation and controls upgrades.
