Demolish/remove flooring, shower enclosure (including (2) attached partition walls), vanity/sink, lighting, vent fan, toilet paper holder, paper towel holder (save for re-install), seat cover holder, medicine cabinet. Mirror and toilets WILL REMAIN. See attached SOW for additional information for this solicitation. (All proposals be posted within DHS Marketplace.) SCOPE OF WORK: Provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to renovate building 20 Command bathroom on first floor, and female bathroom/female locker room shower on second floor. Each restroom measuring at approximately 71" x 76", but contractor must verify measurements. For bid purposes, please provide a breakdown of price for restroom renovation bid. This is lowest-price, technically acceptable solicitation. The work for the restroom includes, but is not limited to the following: A. Demolish/remove flooring, shower enclosure (including (2) attached partition walls), vanity/sink, lighting, vent fan, toilet paper holder, paper towel holder (save for re-install), seat cover holder, medicine cabinet. Mirror and toilets WILL REMAIN. B. Contractor will complete all the remaining work in female restroom and Command restroom, including: 1) Repair any damaged drywall and replace with new moisture resistant drywall. 2) Install new shower enclosure to include all fixtures and trim in its entirety ensuring existing plumbing is correct height. Provide and install all water supply lines and drain lines where applicable. Modification to location of existing shower floor drain may be necessary. 3) Prepare existing floor for installation and complete install of new GFE floor tile and grout. 4) Complete all electrical work to have one switch operate vent fan and vanity light together. 5) Install new vent fan with light and vanity light. 6) Replace GFCI outlet and light switch. 7) Install new vanity and faucet. Vanity and fixtures provided will be better than contractor grade and will need to be approved by COR prior to purchase by contractor. 8) Provide and install all water supply and drain lines. 9) Paint all walls and ceilings. Paint provided by government. 10) Install toilet paper holder, paper towel dispenser, and toilet seat cover holder. 11) All equipment will be installed as per industry standard and will require an operational test witnessed by the COR prior to project completion. C. Contractor will complete all the remaining work in female locker room shower, including: 1) Repair any damaged drywall and replace with new moisture resistant drywall. 2) Install new shower enclosure to include all fixtures and trim in its entirety ensuring existing plumbing is correct height.
