Description: The City of Visalia is seeking proposals for the management and operation of fixed-route, Dial-A-Ride paratransit services, V-LINE, Sequoia Shuttle (SEKI), LOOP, and the future micro transit services. In addition to managing, operating and maintaining VT Transit System, the scope of services also includes managing, operating and maintaining the facility, fleet vehicles, and buses provided by the City. Initial contract will be a five (5) year term. In order to be considered eligible and qualified, PROPOSER must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the field of providing public transit services for systems similar in size and scope to that contemplated herein. This contract is federally funded and as such, the Federal Requirements associated with the performance of services under this contract have been included with this RFP. Awarded Contractor will be responsible for adherence to all local, state and federal requirements listed herein. These requirements are hereby incorporated into the subsequent contract arising from this RFP.
