As of May 31, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The Project is expected to be awarded on June 12, 2024 during the Board Meeting. Bids can either be mailed using the above address or dropped off in the "Bid Mailbox" located at the entrance to the Distribution and Engineering Office Building 3. A picture of the New Stanton Campus Layout as well as the drop-off location are included with the bid specifications to provide clarification. Bids will be opened in the wastewater building (#2). Provision of protection prior to starting work for all landscaping, utilities, structures and facilities which might be damaged if not protected. The work to be done under this Contract shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and tools necessary to construct the indicated sewer pipelines, including all appurtenances, complete and operable, in a satisfactory workmanlike manner and in accordance with the Contract Documents. These Standard Specifications describe the requirements governing the construction of sanitary sewers and appurtenances. These Specifications are general in scope, are to be applied whenever applicable and are referred to as "Standards" in the other sections of the complete Contract Documents. Where the Standard Specifications and the Detailed Specifications differ in their specified intent, the wording of the Detailed Specifications will apply. Wherever the words "storm sewer" shall occur in the Specifications, the meaning shall also include "trunk sewers", "main sewers", "lateral sewers" and "intercepting sewers", as well as all required manholes, catch basins and other appurtenances that are necessary for completion of the work in accordance with the Contract Documents.
