A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. The project consists of replacement and upgrades to the synthetic turf field and track, as well as upgrades of the adjoining amenities including seating at Danehy Park Field 4 as specified in the plans and in accordance with Project Manual. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. All questions must be submitted in writing and either emailed to purchasing@cambridgema.gov or delivered to the Office of the Purchasing Agent, Elizabeth Unger, during normal business hours to 5 Bigelow Street, Cambridge, MA 02139 not later than Friday, May 3, 2024 by 11:00 a.m. Removal and replacement of the existing synthetic turf field including full removal and recycling of the existing synthetic field; full removal and replacement of the existing running track and bit. conc. paving; new granite block seating, new electrical outlets and other associated incidental work as indicated on the contract documents. Danehy Park Field 4 Field and Track Improvements Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Estimated Cost $2,700,000
