James City County is seeking competitive proposals from pre-qualified Offerors, selected as part of the evaluation process for RFQ 20240819, to provide Construction Manager at Risk Delivery of the New James City County General Services Headquarters Building in accordance with all terms, conditions and specifications as set out in this Request for Proposal (RFP). ONLY FIRMS WHO HAVE BEEN SHORTLISTED AS PART OF THE RFQ PROCESS MAY SUBMIT A PROPOSAL. This is the second step of a two-step qualifications-based competitive negotiation process as authorized by Section 2.2-4382 of the Code of Virginia and James City County's adopted written procedures governing the selection, evaluation, and award of CM at Risk contracts. This RFP sets forth the minimum performance criteria for the Work and services to be provided by the CM. By utilizing the Construction Manager at Risk construction delivery method, it is intended and expected that the CM and the A/E shall work in the spirit of teamwork to ensure the Project goals and schedule are met to support the Owner's program. Questions must be submitted in writing to the point of contact listed below on May 7, 2024, NO LATER THAN 2:00 p.m. No questions will be answered by phone.
