Furnish and Install Fuel Tanks - The City of Syracuse Fire Maintenance Division currently utilizes a 2000-gallon Gasoline tank at its maintenance facility location. The awarded contractor will be responsible for the removal and disposal of the existing tank and the installation of a new 2000-gallon tank. Project Location: Syracuse fire Maintenance Division 312 State Fair Blvd. Syracuse NY 13204 Project Introduction: The Town of Hartwick Highway Department is seeking the delivery of two (2) above ground double wall fuel storage tanks inclusive of electric pumps. Delivery Location: Town of Hartwick Highway Department 103 Town Dr. Hartwick, NY 13348 Question Acceptance Deadline 05/06/2024 04:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No General Requirements - Insurance Required - License Required - Prevailing Wage Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % -- A bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, bank/teller/treasurer's check, payable to the City of Syracuse, or cash, in the amount of Five Percent (5%) must accompany each proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted a contract will be entered into The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance surety bond issued by a bonding company authorized to do business in New York State in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract as a guarantee for the faithful performance thereof. Notifying the New York State DEC and DIG Safely New York. 4. Obtaining any City of Syracuse Permits. 5. Mobilization to the project site. 6. Disconnect all power to the currently installed fuel tank. 7. Purge tank, open and clean. 8. Pump all tank contents and properly dispose of any non-hazardous waste. 9. Dispose of tank and dike. 10. Prep area for the installation of a clean pad 8' x 16' x 8" with fiber mesh. 11. Provide tank top accessories. 12. Connect into the existing electric and piping. 13. Install a two (2) inch fill remote. 14. Supply and install required Tank Labeling. 15. Provide tank closure report per New York State DEC. 16.
