Easton District Court Bullet Resistant Glass Door. Scope of Work The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is seeking bids from prospective Bidders to provide all materials, labor, supervision, and expertise required to provide the removal and disposal of existing materials, and installation of new level III bullet resistant glass for an exterior door, transom, and sidelights at the Easton District Court. Bidder shall refer to Attachment 1 - Existing Door, Transom, Sidelights, and Strike + Card Access Reader. Bidder shall provide all materials, labor, supervision, and expertise required to complete the following: 1. Removal and disposal of existing exterior door and frame, transom, and sidelights. 2. Furnishing and installing the following: a. Exterior door and frame (1) Overall dimensions of doorway (including sidelights and transom): 4'4" W x 8'8" H (2) Existing door is a 3'0" wide exterior door, with an 8" frame. (3) A new panic bar shall be installed on the inside of the door. (4) Exterior of the new door shall have a pull with a key cylinder. (5) Glass shall be new Level III Bullet Resistant Glass with mirror finish. i Glass installation shall include replacing the framing. 1. Frame shall be ballistic framing, painted to match current door. 2. Paint color: Valspar, Colonial White, #319A500. 3. Reinstalling (i.e., re-using) the following: a. Existing electric strike. b. Bidder is responsible for pulling wire, re-installing strike, and re-fishing wire after install is complete. 4. The Successful Bidder shall provide shop drawings and cut sheets ten (10) days prior to commencement of any work and must receive signed approval of the same from the Contract Manager.
