East Gym Pool Refinishing. Location: Binghamton University Binghamton University is seeking a qualified contractor to refinish the pool in the East Gym Building. The pool is approximately 6000 square feet 1"x1" (ceramic Tile) in surface area. Contractor is to measure the dimensions for size. Length 79' x width 37' pool depth is 4 feet to 14 feet, there is a filter trough/gutter that goes around the inside of the pool and there is also an apron around the perimeter. Contractor must inspect pool with water in it. Binghamton University will drain pool. Once pool is drained contract must repair grout as needed and fix/ replace broken or missing tile. Before applying AquaGuard, the entire surface must be thoroughly cleaning using a high-pressure cleaner to remove any loose Marcite, dirt, grease, oil, release agents or other surface contaminants or residue.
