The Town of Chapmanville Water and Sewer Department, Logan County, West Virginia will receive separate sealed bids for the construction of the Dalton odby Airport Sanitary Sewer Extension Project as follows: Contract 1- Dalton odby Airport Sanitary Sewer Extension Project This project involves furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the construction of approximately 420 feet of 8-inch diameter gravity sewer pipe, 900 feet of 2-inch diameter force main, 3 manholes, one pumping station and other items as outlined in the Plans and Specifications. A five percent (5%) Bid Bond or certified cashier's check must accompany all Bids. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Payment Bond and Performance Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. "NON- DISCRIMINATION IN EMPLOYMENT" This project is to be funded by grants from the Town of Chapmanville and the Logan County Commission and shall be referred to as the Dalton odby Airport Sanitary Sewer Extension Project. Bidders much comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act, and the Contract Work Hours and Safety Act. No Bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of the opening of the Bids. Any Contractor submitting a Bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he has a license and meets all the qualifications required by the statutes of the State and subdivision in which the work is to be performed. The Contractor shall comply with the West Virginia Contractor Licensing Act and shall require all subcontractors to comply with that Act. A Contractor's License Number is to be included on the bid submission. The requirements stated in the advertisement for bids and the bid form may not be waived by any public entity. The Town of Chapmanville Water and Sewer Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
