Sweetwater North Drainage Improvement Project - Phase 2 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Sweetwater, Florida (the "City") will be accepting sealed Proposals for its "Sweetwater North Drainage Improvement Project - Phase 2," RFP-2024-01. . The work specified in this bid consists of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, supervision, mobilization, overhead & profit for drainage, right of way and associated improvements. Bidders shall rely on the drawings, specifications, Bid Package information and addenda in preparing their proposal. The scope is indicated on the plans and is specified in applicable documents and drawings. Location of Work: The boundaries for the project are: NW 108 Avenue between NW 17 Street and NW 21 Street. Work may be expanded to areas connected to or adjacent to the aforementioned scope of work Questions will be accepted in writing only via email at: bids@cityofsweetwater.fl.gov. Cutoff date for questions is May 10th, 2024, at 5 p.m. This project will be federally-funded, in part or whole through FLORIDA COMMERCE and by way of COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Bidders shall comply with rules and regulations such as, but by no means limited to, the Davis Bacon Act of 1968, as amended; rights to inventions made by non-profit organizations and small business firms under government grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements outlined in Appendix II to Part 200(F); E-verify language to comply with Florida Executive Order 11-116, 2 CFR 200.323 requirements of Section 6002 of the Solid Waste Disposal Act procuring only items designated in guidelines of the Environmental Protection Agency at 40 CFR 247, 2 CFR 200.324(a) cost or price analysis if in excess of the Simplified Acquisition Threshold ($250,000), Appendix II to Part 200(H), Sub-Recipients must comply with CDBG regulations regarding debarred or suspended entities, specifically including 24 CFR 570.609, and all other applicable federal, state and local ordinances. Note that the contractor must ensure that employees are not discriminated because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Submission of proposals is encouraged from qualified small and minority businesses and women's business enterprises Note that the successful bidder is required to pay workers on this project pursuant to 40 U.S.C 3142(b), the minimum wages as determined DavisBacon Act in the Wage Determination Decision included in the Bidder's package.
