The Atlanta Public Schools seeks a Design-Builder to complete a project to install ballistic film and make related improvements to security vestibules at 24 (twenty-four)schools. Question Deadline 05/09/2024 at 2:00 PM ET All questions or requests for clarification must be sent via Bonfire under Message - Opportunity Q&A via Electronically. The basic program for the project to be responded to may include but not be limited to the items listed below. There will be some changes in the function or relationship of spaces or changesto the building infrastructure orsystems may be added asthe planning process moves forward. Please note that the packaging and schedule for the projects as currently presented are subject to change as APS's priorities evolve. This is not the final scope and may be changed based on the additional inspection with the Design-Builder. The summary scope of work identified by the APS facility team for each location is provided below. 3.1 Prepare design-build drawings for the subject area of the schools (see Exhibit 1). 3.2 Complete new or modify Security Vestibules as necessary. 3.3 Provide ballistic film on adjacent glass. 3.4 Provide access control, cameras, and low-voltage systems as called for. 3.5. Assure code-compliant egress, hardware, signage, ADA access, etc.
