The County of Butte is soliciting for a low dollar value public works type project, Nuisance Abatement services at 4653 & 4667 Virginia Ave., Oroville, CA 95966. Project Description: For clarification purposes, 4653 Virginia Ave will be identified in this document as parcel (A) and 4667 Virginia Ave as parcel (B). In addition, there will be two bid amounts, one assigned to each respective parcel. SCOPE OF WORK (A): 4653 Virginia Ave 1. All junk will be removed from the site pursuant to Butte County Code, Chapter 24, Section 24-304. The parcel is an unimproved lot that is .14 acres. 2. The site is currently occupied by transients and dogs. Code Enforcement will remain on site during the abatement. Deputies and Animal Control Officers will be provided if needed. 3. 100 SQFT of junk will be left on each parcel. Transients on site will be able to decide what 100 SQFT section they would like to retain on each site. 4. DOES NOT require removal of any recreational vehicles. 5. Form for "One Day Exemption to Haul Waste Tires" will be provided to contractor. 6. If necessary, reposition junk vehicles located on the parcel to relocation for Code Enforcement Officer to make towing arrangements SCOPE OF WORK (B): 4667 Virginia Ave 1.
