Renovation of an educational facility in Whitby, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Durham College of Applied Arts and Technology ("Durham College") is accepting proposals for mechanical penthouse alterations at the Whitby Campus located at 1610 Champlain Ave, Whitby, ON. The intent of the project is to replace the Air Handling Unit (AHU #7) with a new AHU. The new AHU is already on site, stored in pieces in the mechanical penthouse. The scope of Phase 1 of 2 of the project requires the successful proponent to remove and dispose of the existing installed AHU, to modify the existing space to accommodate the new AHU, to assemble / install the new AHU, and to make the new AHU functional. Phase 2 of 2 of the project requires the successful proponent to return in the fall of 2024, when the glycol components are expected to arrive, to convert the new AHU (from Phase 1 of 2) to glycol.
