Site work and new construction of a military facility in Indian Head, Maryland. Completed plans call for the construction of a 5,000-square-foot military facility.

The Naval Support Activity at Indian Head, Maryland, has requested a new 5,000 square foot, single story explosives testing operations facility located within the restricted area of the installation. The building is a laboratory designed to accommodate function testing, all-fire/no-fire sensitivity testing, gap testing, thermal stability testing, tensile and hardness testing, and cook-off testing. The site for the building is a site located south of Building 1955, along Noble Road, which requires all utilities to be run to the building from the existing base utility infrastructure. Utilities to the site include: domestic water and fire suppression water lines, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, aerial and underground telecommunication lines, underground electrical, and aboveground steam. Time for Completion: In accordance with FAR 52.211-10 Commencement, Prosecution, and Completion of Work, the Government desires completion of construction within 545 calendar days after award (includes 15 calendar days for submission and approval of bonds and insurance) *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
