The project will generally consist of the removal and replacement of the existing culvert with an aluminum structural plate arch culvert with structural plate headwalls and wingwalls as well as the installation of riprap scour protection, guide rail and general restoration activities. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record with the Owner as having obtained the contract documents. A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A bid submitted without a Bid Bond will be rejected. Bidders must be prequalified in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408, Section 102.01 and/or Township requirements. Bidders are advised that Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are applicable to this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
