Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ripon, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Contract No. 1 - Pulverizing of approximately 20,830 sq. yd. of asphalt pavement, replacement of approximately 270 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, installation of approximately 70 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, culvert replacement, fine grading, asphalt paving approximately 890 sq. yd. parking area, 2-foot gravel shoulders, traffic control and minor ditch grading. Alternate No. 1 - Moving excess pulverized material offsite. There is no prevailing wage determination for this project. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond equal to five percent of the maximum bid price, payable to the Owner as a guaranty that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract Documents and furnish the required contract security. If the Successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract Documents and provide the required contract security within 15 days after the Notice of Award, the Owner may annul the Notice of Award and the Bid Security will be forfeited. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after the date of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to award the Contract to the Bidder, who in the judgment of the Owner, will best serve the interest of the Owner.
