Site work for a water / sewer project in Kitimat, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The works under this Contract is to install a supplied dock and gangway at Minette Bay West Park located at District Lot 471. Work includes, but is not limited to the following: Survey layout Excavation as required to support pile abutment installation. Supply and installation of three piles via vibratory pile driving. Supply and installation of pile cap with hanger plate, shackles, and end link. Supply and installation of lock blocks adjacent to pile abutment. Supply and installation of gangway transition plates at pile abutment. Backfill pile abutment excavation as required. Transport and installation of supplied dock and gangway. Supply and installation of Crosby shackles, chain, and HDPE pipe sections for two (2) pile supports. Install three (3) supplied ladders for dock. Environmental monitoring of all in-water works. Provisional scope: Removal of existing timber pile cluster adjacent to causeway. Pile coating for the two (2) piles that the dock is fixed to. Supply and installation of two (2) bollards.
