All work described under the terms of this contract shall be completed within 65 working days following the date of commencement This work shall include, but is not limited to Asphalt patching, asphalt overlays, base preparation, shoulder restoration, utility adjustments temporary and permanent striping, temporary access wedges, and all traffic control personnel and devices required to complete the scope of work outlined herein these contract documents. The work located herein the contract documents shall be performed during the following working hours and as approved by the City Representative: Day Work (residential streets): 7:00AM to 4:00PM Day Work (Arterial/Collector Streets): 8:00AM to 3:00PM Night Work: 8:00PM to 6:00AM with City Representative approval. We reserve the right, to waive any irregularities or informalities and to reject any or all bids (if not compliant with RCW 39.04,350 & RCW 39.26.160) and to award this Contract to a single bidder based on the lowest responsible bid for the collective total of the schedule. Proposals shall be on forms included in the contract documents and shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond (with an authorized surety company as surety), made payable to the City of Issaquah, in an amount not less than 5% of the amount of the bid. No bidder may Withdraw their bid after the time announced for the opening, or before the award and execution of the contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty-five (65) days.
