Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Santa Rosa, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project will rehabilitate approximately 570 linear feet of roadway on Sonoma Avenue between Farmers Lane and Hahman Drive to address failing and deteriorating pavement conditions while implementing shared bike/bus lanes and upgrading pedestrian curb ramps to current ADA standards. Portland cement concrete overlay technology will be utilized to reduce costs, construction time and associated traffic impacts while extending pavement life. Water services within the project limits will be replaced. Sidewalk will be added to fill missing gaps on both sides of Sonoma Avenue.
