THE PROJECT GENERALLY CONSISTS OF: the installation of a new 1.5 MG clearwell, installation of a new high service pump station, replacement of the existing high service pumps with transfer pumps, modifications to the existing electrical systems, and modifications to the existing instrumentation and controls systems. The Contractor is also responsible for the installation and maintenance of erosion control and temporary safety measures during construction, clearing and grubbing, demolition, earthwork, stormwater improvements and the restoration of surfaces. A Qualifications Statement, including documentation of relevant experience as described in the Instructions to Bidders, and EJCDC Form C-451 must be submitted with the bid. Contractors submitting a Bid on this project must solicit bids from minority subcontractors and provide documentation of any outreach efforts as required by the NC Division of Water Infrastructure MBE/WBE (DBE) Compliance Supplement.
