PN - W50S8523B0010 Question Deadline 08/15/2024 Subsequent to demolition of old equipment the contractor shall provide and install new outdoor rain tight, watertight 300 kW, 480/277 volt, 3 ph, 4 W diesel generator with new battery, new battery charger, muffler, new double wall base tank, space heater as required and all required equipment and materials and hardware and software for supplying emergency backup power. Generator must be EPA certified. The contractor shall provide a copy of the manufacturer EPA certification to the Selfridge Environmental Division Manager. The Contractor shall provide and install minimum 430-gallon double wall above ground base tank sized for at least 24 hours of operation without the need of refueling. Tank must be in accordance with secondary containment requirements (if > greater than 55 gallons), 40 CFR Part 112. The engines for the new emergency generator will need to be certified by the EPA for stationary emergency use in a accordance with the SANGB AQMP. The generator unit engine must be certified by the EPA for the intended use per 40 CFR Part 60.
