4", 6", 8" and 10" sewer cleaning & video inspection - Phase 2 in the Borough of Victory Gardens. The work to be performed shall consist of the furnishing of all labor, equipment, materials and all else necessary to jet-clean and video inspect approximately 110 L.F. of 4" sewer, 650 L.F. of 6" sewer, 610 L.F. of 8" sanitary sewer pipe and 1,500 L.F. of 10" sanitary sewer pipe including, but not limited to: mobilization and setup; dewatering; bypass pumping; removal and disposal of sludge, grit and solids; internal video inspection of the sewer; and preparation of inspection documents. The sewer lines to be inspected are located in various streets and easements in Victory Gardens. The Contract must be completed by July 17, 2024 and must start after June 26, 2024. This Contract is subject to all of the Department of Labor Safety and Health Regulations and to the applicable provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. All bids shall be made on the forms furnished and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked with the name and address of the Bidder, the name of the Owner, the Contract Number and Title. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) (not to exceed $20,000) of the total bid, payable to the Owner, as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to the Bidder he will enter into a contract with the Owner. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish payment and performance bonds each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract award. Each Bidder shall submit with his proposal a certified Consent of Surety document stating that the surety company will provide him with the required payment and performance bonds in the event of a contract award. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, as set forth in the Contract Documents, the right being reserved by the Borough to reject all proposals or any proposal which may be informal or the acceptance of which for any other reasons would be detrimental to the best interests of the Borough, and to waive informalities. ***Document Note: Contract Documents may be obtained only at the office of the Consulting Engineer upon request made by any bona fide prospective bidder by calling 973-887-2270 or by email to mail@anderson-denzler.com.
