Sir/ Ma'am, I am soliciting for siding installation on several buildings at the Coeur d Alene Nursery, Idaho in accordance with the statement of work. The magnitude of the job is between $25 and 100k and requires work to be completed by 9/30/2024. John.curry@usda.gov Delivery: 09/30/2024 Delivery Location Code: 0287 COEUR DALENE NURSERY 3600 NURSERY ROAD COEUR DALENE ID 83815 US Period of Performance: 05/15/2024 to 09/30/2024 This project involves replacing the T1-11 wood siding on three building at the Coeur d'Alene Nursery with vertical metal siding. For Buildings 2240 and 2830 only the south and west sides of these buildings would need to be replaced with 7/16 plywood or OSB sheets to provide a stable surface for the application of the metal siding. A weather-resistive barrier shall be attached to the sheathing prior to the application of the metal siding. Both of the following buildings would have Board and Batton metal siding of the same pattern and color. Metal shall be 26 gauge and color Brown. Building 2240 has 1850 square feet of T1-11 siding needing to be replaced. Building 2830 has 280 square feet of T1-11 siding needling to be replaced. For Building 2136 all four sides will be covered with metal siding, however the north and east sides are in very good condition and will provide a suitable surface for that application of vertical metal siding without replacing the existing T1-11. The South and West sides of this building will need to be removed and replaced with 7/16 plywood or OSB sheathing. A weather-resistive barrier will be applied to all four sides of the building prior to the application of the metal siding. This building will be covered with the same type and color of the siding being used to cover the north wall of the adjacent greenhouses. Total surface area is 1340 square feet. Color shall be white. Exposed Fastners shall be the same color as the siding. PROJECT LOCATION The Nusery buildings are located at 3600 W Nursery Rd, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83815.
