Site work and paving for a road / highway in Columbus, Wisconsin. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway.

sawcut, preparation, and hot mix paving of 4 different areas that had culverts previously installed. Please contact the Clerk, Lori Koenig-Fry at 920-728-0269. The Town of Elba reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any technicality and to accept any bid that it deems advantageous. All bids shall remain subject to acceptance for forty-five (45) days after the time set for bid opening. Contractor shall sawcut each edge of the patch in a straight line and create a clean edge for the new asphalt to adhere to. All asphalt material from saw cutting activities shall be collected and removed offsite. 2. Contractor shall remove any excess gravel and shape existing area to pave a 4" hot mix asphalt covering the entire patch area. Any excess gravel or material shall be collected and disposed of offsite by the contractor. 3. Hot mix asphalt shall be placed, compacted and rolled with a smooth drum vibratory roller. Mix shall be a WisDOT approved mix. 4. Traffic on the newly placed asphalt shall be limited until all compaction has taken place. All traffic control shall be supplied by the contractor and shall be in accordance with the Wisconsin MUTCD. All signing and flagmen to be provided by the bidder per Wisconsin MUTCD standards.
