This scope of service covers the requirements which include but are not limited to providing all
materials, labor, supervision, debris removal, site cleanup and obtain any necessary permits in order
to provide asphalt and concrete installation and repair services as well as striping parking lots SJCCD
on an as-needed basis.
2.1 Contractor shall obtain and maintain in current status all applicable permits: City of Houston,
City of Pasadena, City of LaPorte, and Harris County. Proof of permits shall be provided upon
request by SJCCD.
2.2 Work shall be performed under the direction of SJCCDs points of contact, Director of Facilities
Services or its designee.
2.3 Contractor shall keep the jobsite and surrounding areas free from debris and accumulation of
waste. Contractor shall remove all surplus materials and tools from site at completion of job.
2.4 Contractor shall provide all barricades including, but not limited to, safety fencing and debris
containment barriers around all work areas.
2.5 Contractor shall provide all required and reasonably necessary safety and re-directional signage
for each project.
2.6 If requested by SJCCD, Contractor shall make a site visit and provide a quote in accordance
with the contracted rates and shall include material pricing, and project timeline estimate,
and/or a double line sketch for all proposed work.
2.7 If plans, drawings, engineered documents, etc. are required for a project, all such information
shall be obtained through SJCCDs Facilities Services department.
2.8 College will review submitted quote and once approved, will issue a Purchase Order (PO) to
