The Town Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or any part(s) thereof, waive any informalities in the bidding process, and to accept the bid proposal or portion of the bid proposal deemed most advantageous to the town. Box 247; 749 Central Avenue Florence, WI 54121 Phone: 715-889-2781 Construction of Salt Storage Building: A Description (1) The work under this item shall consist of construction of a Wheeler Salt Storage Building in accordance with the bid plans. (2) Structural building materials have been procured by the Township and will be supplied to the contractor for erection. The materials include all treated timber posts, planking, top plates, plywood, headers, roof sheathing and untreated pre-built trusses, timber sliding door kit. Hardware materials include brackets, anchors bolts, bolts and construction lags. Nails and truss tie-down wood screws to be supplied by contractor. (3) Materials the contractor will be responsible for sourcing include, but not limited to, roofing, roofing underlayment, pipe bollards, concrete, excavation and backfill of concrete footings and foundation wall, rebar, nails (as noted in the plans), truss tie down screws and temporary bracing. (4) Contractor shall coordinate delivery of Wheeler building materials with the Township and Wheeler representatives. Contractor will be responsible for unloading all materials upon delivery. Materials are expected to be available after 7/10/24.
