Bidders may bid on the demolition and replacement of the existing picnic pavilion within ths Paul A. Weaver Community Park. The park is located at 40 Emerson Way, Clarion, PA 16214. Work under this contract shall include demolition and removal of the existing pavilion, concrete work (existing pole removal from and new pole installation into the existing concrete pad), and installation of a 21-foot by 32-foot pole-style open picnic pavilion with installed electrical outlets and lighting and ail other work necessary to make a complete job, including necessary hardware, all materials, equipment, supplies, and labor for the construction as shown and specified in the Construction Drawings and Bid/Contracting documents. The demolition and removal of the existing pavilion and the provision of electric outlets and lighting shall be alternate bid items. The successful bidders) will be required to fully complete all work within 90 consecutive calendar days from, and including, the date indicated by the Owner in their written Notice to Proceed. The successful Bidder will be required to obtain performance and payment bonds prior to the start of work on this contract. A one year maintenance bond will be required of the contractor prior to final payment. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum prevailing wages as set forth in the Contract Documents shall be paid on this project. Bidder acknowledges that this bid is for a public works contract and bidder is therefore subject to the provisions, duties, obligations and penalties of the Public Works Employment Verification Act, 43 P.S. 167.1-167.11, and the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, Act of 1978, P.L. 6, No.3, which are incorporated herein by reference. Clarion Borough reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids.
