The Town of Gila Bend has a $500,000 grant to add amenities to the Gatlin Cultural and Natural Resource Park on 110 acres owned by the Town. The Town seeks a registered Landscape Architecture firm to prepare the development plan for this project. The development plan will consist of an overall site plan for compliance review along with specifications for major purchases, permit requirements, construction documents, cost estimates, and other needed lists and plans. After working with the project team and becoming familiar with project, the selected firm will facilitate a public meeting. Proposal Requirements To ensure that reviewers can evaluate your proposal thoroughly and fairly, it is strongly recommended that your proposal employ the headings and follow the order listed here. The weighting of each proposal element is indicated in parentheses below. Statement of Interest (25%): Briefly summarize your understanding of this project. Then, tell us why you are interested in this project and highlight what your firm will bring to the project. Experience on Comparable Projects (30%): Share comparable projects that you have completed. Highlight how that experience will benefit your performance on this project. Provide contact information for the client for each project so that we can contact them for a recommendation. General Statement of Qualifications (25%): What is the history of your firm. How many staff do you have and what are the qualifications of staff who will work on this project Include information on your firm's insurance coverage (Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, Worker's Compensation and Employers' Liability). Share other relevant information about your firm. Draft Budget (20%): Prepare a Draft Budget to create the development plan for this project. This project is funded by a $500,000 grant. This design project is allocated $40,000. Identify major tasks, personnel involved, other direct costs such as travel, and total cost for each task and the total cost of the development plan. These activities need to occur in a timely manner. The development plan is the critical next step in project implementation. We expect the contract notice to proceed to be issued by June 3, 2024, and the development plan completion by August 31, 2024. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
