Bids received after the time specified above will not be accepted or opened. The project involves providing base aggregate, asphalt, and installing asphalt for roughly one mile of Johnstone Road. This encompasses all necessary labor, materials, and supplies for transporting and delivering the base aggregate. Additionally, it includes the labor, materials, and supplies for delivering, installing asphalt, and any other tasks specified in the project manual. All work is to be in accordance with the project plans, specifications and ISPWC. All bids shall be submitted on the prescribed form and in the manner indicated in the Instructions to Bidders. A pre-bid conference will not be held. Bidder agrees that the Work will be substantially complete within 75 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 2.03 of the General Conditions, and will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions within 90 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run GENERAL CONTRACTORS: IF USING A DIGITAL COPY OF THE PROJECT MANUAL, PLEASE CONFIRM YOU ARE ON THE PLAN HOLDERS LIST. GENERAL CONTRATORS THAT PLAN TO BID MUST BE PLAN HOLDERS. PLEASE CALL IN ADVANCE OF PLAN PICKUP. Homedale Highway District reserves the right to accept the bids and award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder regardless of alternative selected; to postpone the acceptance of the bid and the award of the contract for a period not to exceed thirty-five (60) days; or to reject any and all bids received and further advertise the project for bids. Homedale Highway District may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject, for good cause, any or all bids upon the finding of the District it is in the public interest to do so.
