AMENDMENT 01 - Is being entered to revise Project Objectives in the Statement of Work (SoW). This is a Request for Proposal for construction services. The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Dale Bumpers National Rice Research Center located in Stuttgart, AR., has a requirement for a new roof replacement on the equipment shed between greenhouses. The work includes but is not limited to: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and professional services necessary to remove and install a new roof on the equipment shed, as per the Statement of Work (SoW). The contractor shall provide a detailed technical proposal and detailed cost breakdown for the entire project. The solicitation number is 12405B24R0011 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. Contractors are required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting a proposal. You can register on- line at www.sam.gov. SIZE OF PROJECT: In accordance with FAR 36-204, the estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. SET ASIDE: This procurement is being set aside for Small Business. Scope Statement The contractor shall provide all professional services and materials necessary for installation of new roof replacement on the equipment shed (approximately 70' long x 30'wide) between greenhouses at the USDA, ARS, Dale Bumpers National Rice Research Center (DBNRRC), 2890 AR. HWY 130 East, Stuttgart, AR 72160 and provide a detailed proposal and cost breakdown for the project. Preparation for this work will involve dialog with site personnel to determine the specific requirements. The proposal will be presented in MS Word format and the cost breakdown/analysis will be presented in MS Excel. The contractor shall include all services and field labor, equipment, materials, and personal protective equipment necessary to perform the work.
