The project scope includes approximately 9 acres of clearing and grubbing, approximately 2,270 linear feet of 12" sanitary sewer pipe, 1,370 linear feet of 15" sanitary sewer pipe, 3,517 linear feet of 18" sanitary sewer pipe, and erosion control. Questions received less than 72 hours prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered The Project Site: The project is located within the Marion Oaks Municipal Utility District of Guadalupe County in Marion, Texas. The site may be reached by traveling east from San Antonio on Lower Seguin road for approximately 9.1 miles past E Loop 1604 N to the S Santa Clara road intersection. Then head south for 0.22 miles and the Project Site will be on the left. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than 2 percent of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within 7 days after the date the Contractor is notified. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Boards' judgement will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
