The Bureau of Land Management's mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations. In furtherance of the Bureaus mission, GLHN Architects & Engineers, Inc. was hired to produce technical plans and specifications for water upgrades to the Haystack Mountain OHV site. There is an existing well at the site that will be used as the water source. The contractor shall construct water system upgrades at a recreation area located 20 miles northeast of Roswell, NM. The upgrades include generally a well pump, reverse osmosis water treatment system with associated storage tanks, pumps, building, distribution piping and waterline to yard hydrants at 14 camp sites. Electric work will be required to supply power from the existing electric service to the reverse osmosis system, pump, and building. The work shall be performed as outlined in Attachment A, titled Haystack Mtn Sealed Specifications. 1. Funding: An award will be made under this solicitation, as funds are presently available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation before the closing date if needed. 2. Proposal acceptance period shall extend for thirty (30) days past the solicitation closing date. 3. A site visit will take place on April 5, 2024, for any perspective vendors. Perspective vendors shall report at 0900 Mountain Standard Time at the location listed below. Vendors shall provide their own transportation to the site. Questions and Answers: Questions relating to this solicitation and site visit shall only be accepted via email and are due no later than 500pm MST on April 12, 2024, to Paul Grant at pgrant@blm.gov. Vendors shall make note that there might not be a warranted contracting officer at the site visit and only a warranted contracting officer can obligate the federal government. Nothing out of the site visit shall constitute a requirement or obligation by the government. 5. Period of Performance: Two Hundred days after issuance of a Notice to Proceed. 6. The Construction Wage Rage shall be applicable to this solicitation/contract. 7. Per FAR 36.204, the magnitude for this project shall be between $250,000 and $500,000. 8.
